The Memento Chair is designed by an industrial designer Jesse Sanderson from Toronto, Canada—a chair in its most basic form, with two rectangles of leather resting on black steel frames. The leather is bound with straps and buckles, so you can switch out the leather and steel frame whenever you like. The thick saddle leather is environmentally tanned to highlight the life that once wore it as its skin. The leather shows the scars and insect bites from living in Transylvania. When the Memento chair is used over time, the leather will live and become more beautiful.
